Luis Aleman is a seasoned global strategist with extensive experience in strategic consulting, geopolitics, risk assessment, and defense and intelligence services, supporting public- and private-sector clients across complex political and economic landscapes in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, South Asia, and Europe. He helps clients navigate sensitive political, economic, and regulatory environments while advancing high-impact international and security-related initiatives.

His career includes leading and supporting landmark engagements between the United States and countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, and Libya, encompassing major investment frameworks, bilateral agreements, sanctions-related engagement, and political stabilization efforts. Notable contributions include facilitating multibillion-dollar public–private partnerships in Ghana, supporting high-level diplomatic engagements including a historic U.S. state visit by the President of the DRC, advancing U.S. support for electoral processes, and contributing to legislative and policy outcomes such as the Libya Stabilization Act.

Aleman leads LFA, a global strategy firm based in New York City and Washington, DC, delivering politically informed strategy, risk analysis, and security-focused consulting services on projects of global consequence.
